 OutlookTasks

Outlook Tasks provides a method for sorting your tasks in Microsoft Outlook by prefixing each task with a A1..Z99: prefix.  This allows you to sort your tasks by subject and get better granularity than the High, Medium, or Low that OL offers.

This was primarily written as a PC counterpart to WebIS's Pocket Informant, a wonderful application for use on a PocketPC based handheld.

This release is fully functional, and does well at sorting my tasks.  Please let me know how you like it.

    Version 0.4.0 News (11/30/2003)

    1. New release worked into a Notebook style format.
    2. Added keyboard navigation in tree format

    Version 0.3.0 News

    1. Now imports Outlook Emails which have a ToDo flag.  All items are imported as category 'E', and you can then organize based on each subject
    2. You may now press the category where you want to store the current task.  For instance, if you are over a task that should be an 'A' priority, simply press 'A'.

    Version 0.2.0 News

    1. Found memory leak issue.  Actually, it wasn't a leak:  wxPython doesn't automatically destroy a dialog window.  You must do that manually.  Once I destroyed the dialog, the program shut down normally.
    2. Now creates A-Z locations for sorting.

    ToDo

    1. Waiting on input from users!
